Five more Russian athletes received neutral status

It is known that five more athletes have received neutral status. Among them are ski jumper Ilya Mankov, snowboarder Ilya Khurtin and freestyle skiers Nikita Andreeva, Nikita Novitsky and Svetlana Ivanova. In addition, coaches Nikolai Shimbuyev and Yuri Zukal will be able to accompany them at international competitions.
Previously, Mikhail Nazarov and Danil Sadreev, who compete in ski jumping, received neutral status. A total of 21 athletes have a neutral status from the FIS.
On December 28, Elena Vyalbe, the head of the Russian Ski Racing Federation (FLGR), said that Russian skiers had received neutral status. According to her, many athletes submitted relevant applications, but they were rejected.
