OREANDA-NEWS  France's policy demonstrates "blatant and shameful hypocrisy." This opinion was shared by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi on the social network X.

"Countries like France should stop lecturing the world about "human rights" and international law. This is blatant and shameful hypocrisy," the foreign minister wrote.

According to Araqchi, France's support for the genocide committed by Israel in Gaza, as well as support for aggression against Iran, deprived Paris of "the moral high ground that, in his opinion, it possessed."

Earlier, Iran issued a "serious warning" to France and Britain on the situation in the Strait of Hormuz. "Those who provoke a crisis will be responsible for the consequences of their adventures. This is a serious warning," said Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi.
