OREANDA-NEWS  France will remain the main competitor of the Russian Federation for the second place in arms supplies abroad until 2030, Vyacheslav Kozlov, Deputy Director General of Rosoboronexport, said on Tuesday.

According to his presentation, Russia will occupy the second place in the arms export market by 2030 with a supply volume of 15 billion US dollars, France will take the third place with a volume of 14 billion US dollars, followed by South Korea and Germany, which will export weapons worth 9.5 and 8 billion dollars, respectively.

It should also be noted that by 2030, in addition to South Korea, two new major exporters will actively participate in the market - Turkey and India with volumes of 6 and 4 billion US dollars, respectively.
