OREANDA-NEWS The upcoming visit of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to Berlin has become a problem for German law enforcement officers. This is reported by the Bild newspaper.

As the head of the metropolitan police union, Benjamin Gendreau, pointed out to the publication, on the eve of the visit, all available forces had to be deployed "to ensure maximum security." According to him, such training has become a "super disaster" for law enforcement officers who have to work overtime and "put their personal lives on the back burner."

On August 13, Zelensky will arrive in Berlin and take part in a video conference with his American counterpart Donald Trump. The leaders of European countries will also participate in the video conference. In addition, Zelensky will talk with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
