OREANDA-NEWS   The Ukrainian military with combat experience will train soldiers of the German army. This is reported by Der Spiegel with reference to a representative of the German army.

It is noted that the German Defense Ministry wants to send Ukrainian soldiers as soon as possible to train the German armed forces in order to increase the combat readiness of its own troops. The corresponding agreement was signed by Minister Boris Pistorius at a meeting with Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky.

Sources in the Bundeswehr noted that negotiations with Kiev on how Berlin could benefit from the combat experience of the Ukrainian army have been underway since 2025.

"Currently, no one in NATO has more combat experience than Ukraine. We have to use it," the German army said.

The details of the training have not yet been disclosed, but it is expected that the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will arrive in Germany as soon as possible and, above all, will train with strong infantry units of the Bundeswehr.

Earlier, Germany promised to supply Ukraine with five PAC-3 missiles for Patriot air defense systems, provided that other countries give Kiev a total of 30 such complexes.
