OREANDA-NEWS  The German Prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into the presence in the country of fighters of the Ukrainian Azov brigade (a terrorist organization banned in Russia). This was reported to RIA Novosti by a source in the Brandenburg police.

"An investigation has been launched, which is being conducted under the supervision of the prosecutor's office. In the interests of the investigation, no additional information is currently being provided," the law enforcement officers said.

In turn, the prosecutor's office of German Potsdam stated in a comment to the agency that there was no information about the presence of representatives of Azov in Germany.
