OREANDA-NEWS.The head of the Ethiopian state of Amhara Ambachew Mekonnen and his adviser were killed during the coup attempt.

It is noted that unknown assailants attacked Ambachew Mekonnen and his Advisor on Saturday, June 22, at their offices.

Earlier it was reported that the chief of staff of the Ethiopian army Ceare Mekonnen received a gunshot wound during the attack.
