OREANDA-NEWS Bai Jiang, a 52-year-old Chinese physical education teacher, has raised at least 267 foster children. According to the South China Morning Post, he earned the nickname "super daddy" for this.
Bai Jiang was born into a poor rural family and was able to go to college only because of his athletic achievements. In 1995, he got a job at a secondary school, where he noticed a boy who often skipped classes and stole food from other children. After finding out that the child had been abandoned by his parents, Jiang took him in.
Later, the man began to take on other orphans and abandoned children. In order to have enough money, he borrowed, worked part-time in his spare time and asked his mother and sister to look after the wards.
Bai Jiang is convinced that all children should do a lot of sports. Every morning, he wakes them up at 4:30 a.m. for a run — the students cover 12 kilometers every day. Up to 30 children live permanently in the house of the "super dad". He got married at the age of 46, and his own child was born in 2020. Many women left him without accepting his charity.
Some of Jiang's grown-up students have become professional athletes, civil servants, and teachers. More than 100 foster children have received higher education, 50 have received the highest sports level. The man's house holds 1,300 medals won by his students in 20 years at various competitions.
Earlier it became known that Russian women who gave birth to and raised more than three children before they reached the age of 8 and have insurance experience of at least 15 years can retire early. Parents of disabled children who have raised them up to the age of eight are also eligible for early retirement.
