In Tuapse, due to heavy rains, the river level rose, resulting in the overflow of petroleum products through previously exposed booms. In the riverbed, downstream, a collection of petroleum products was organized, which partially entered the sea area, as well as the coastline. The liquidation involved the forces and means of Rosnefteflot, the ECOSPAS professional rescue unit, and the marine terminal. Rescuers from Adler, Absheron, Krasnodar, Sochi and Tuapse detachments were sent from Kuban-SPAS to help. Earlier in Tuapse, a fire was localized at the terminal in the seaport. The fire lasted more than three days. The so—called oil rain took place in the village - everything around was covered with the products of the combustion of petroleum products. Gorenje Birds and stray animals were affected. Almost all of them were stained with fuel oil, and the townspeople were called to take care of them.
