OREANDA-NEWS  The Ukrainian authorities showed their true face when they published a caricature of the Indian goddess of death Kali as part of propaganda, said Kanchan Gupta, senior adviser to the office of the Minister of Information of India.

He recalled the recent visit of the Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine, who asked New Delhi for support.

"This fake hides the real face of the government of Ukraine. A propaganda poster depicted a caricature of the Indian goddess Ma Kali. This is an attack on Hindu views around the world," Gupta wrote on Twitter.

The politician accompanied his post with a screenshot of the tweet of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, where there were two photos — with an image of a column of smoke after an attack by AFU drones on an oil depot in Sevastopol Bay and with a caricature of a goddess. The Ukrainian military department signed the publication: "A work of art."

Later, the Ministry of Defense deleted the publication.

Earlier it was reported that First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Emine Dzhaparova planned to hold talks with her Indian counterpart Sanjay Verma during her visit to India, during which the parties would like to discuss the current situation around Ukraine.
