The basis of these exports turned out to be mineral fertilizers, which accounted for 90 percent of supplies. In addition, India has shown demand for rubber products, organic chemicals and plastics products.

According to the agency, last year the mutual trade in chemical industry goods amounted to more than 3 billion 265 million dollars. Thus, the results of 2024 were exceeded by 35.6 percent.

On February 4, it was reported that discounts on Russian oil for Indian buyers increased even more. As a result, the main Urals export grade was already $11 per barrel cheaper for this BRICS country than Brent. Until January 22, the discount averaged $9.15.
