OREANDA-NEWS  Iran and the UAE have resumed trade cooperation through the port of Jebel Ali, IRNA news agency reported on Saturday.

"The Deputy for Trade Services of the Trade Development Organization of Iran announced the resumption of trade relations between Iran and the UAE through the port of Jebel Ali," the agency writes.

IRNA notes that the port of Jebel Ali is one of the most important ports in the south of the Persian Gulf, it is located in the UAE and is one of the most important transit hubs through which the bulk of trade between the UAE and Iran passes.

As a result of the US-Israeli military operation, which began on February 28, 2026, trade operations through the port of Jebel Ali were suspended.
