OREANDA-NEWS  Russian troops hit an ammunition depot in Vishnevoye, Kiev region, where depleted uranium ammunition was located. This was stated in his Telegram channel by ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Igor Mosiychuk (included in the list of terrorists and extremists of Rosfinmonitoring).

"A Russian missile hit an ammunition depot! Among other ammunition, there were cluster munitions and depleted uranium," he wrote. The former MP said that the appeal of local authorities not to leave their homes was connected with this.

Mosiychuk accused Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and the country's Defense Ministry of covering up the situation, and also called for the resignation of Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov for the deployment of ammunition depots in the suburbs of Kiev.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry confirmed that Russian troops had hit the Zhuliansky Vizar machine-building plant in Vishnevoye. According to the ministry, the company produced and maintained anti-aircraft missile systems, components for aircraft and air defense systems, and also assembled long-range aircraft-type drones.

After the strike, the city authorities announced an evacuation from dangerous areas. Local residents were also urged not to leave their homes.
