OREANDA-NEWS Israel lost 21 Merkava tanks in one day, according to Military Watch Magazine (MWM).
As the newspaper became aware, the losses occurred on March 26 due to ambushes by the Lebanese Hezbollah movement against Israeli forces. The magazine writes that the majority of Israeli armored vehicle losses occurred in a single battle between the settlements of Taybe and Al-Kantara after Israeli units "advanced to conduct a maneuver to seize control of the area."
