OREANDA-NEWS  Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni commented on the situation with energy resources in the country. Her words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

Meloni admitted that if the situation in the Middle East worsens, Italy may experience a shortage of energy resources.

"When instability increases in the Gulf countries, it affects the cost of energy, businesses, jobs, and ultimately the purchasing power of families," she said.

Earlier it became known that major airports in Italy — Milan, Venice, Bologna and Treviso — imposed temporary restrictions on refueling commercial flights. The advantage will be given to sanitary and state flights, as well as aircraft following routes lasting more than three hours.
