OREANDA-NEWS  Japanese MP Muneo Suzuki told RIA Novosti that the oral message from Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, which he brought to Moscow, concerns the importance of bilateral relations and the topic of Ukraine.

"Prime Minister Takaichi is fully aware of the importance of Russian-Japanese relations. He also wants to establish peace in Ukraine. That's what she said she wanted me to convey," said the deputy, answering a question about the contents of the message.

Suzuki Muneo, a member of the upper house of Japan from the ruling Liberal Democratic Party, an influential Japanese politician with more than 40 years of experience, is on a visit to Russia on May 3-5. He is well known in Japanese politics for his interest in signing a peace treaty and developing bilateral relations with Russia.
