OREANDA-NEWS The amount of the subsidy for gasoline importers in Russia will exceed 50 thousand rubles per ton, which is 3.6 times more than the payments on the damper for fuel produced in Russia. Kommersant writes about this with reference to the materials of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS).

The agency estimated the cost of a foreign alternative to Ai-92 gasoline in June at 112.6 thousand rubles per ton, which is 1.6 times more than the average price of the same brand in the country. In June, it increased by five percent compared to May, to 70.05 thousand. The difference between the two values should be covered by the subsidy.

The list of its recipients will be determined by the Government later. To calculate indicative prices for foreign fuel, the prices of Ai-92 in India and the cost of transporting gasoline from the west coast of this country to the Russian ports of the Baltic Sea were used.

Tax expert Boris Lutset explained that the imported damping mechanism includes war risk insurance and there is no reduction factor of 0.68, and the average wholesale price is taken without VAT. For these reasons, its size turns out to be larger than the internal one.

At the same time, he recalled that the Ministry of Finance would have to compensate for such significant unplanned payments, but so far no such decisions have been reported. Therefore, in the autumn there may be a question of new tax exemptions or an increase in government borrowing above the planned level.

Earlier, the State Duma approved the extension of an imported damper to diesel fuel, which makes it possible to start purchasing it abroad.
