Kyrgyzstan and Russia have launched joint tactical exercises

OREANDA-NEWS The military contingents of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation have started joint exercises in Kyrgyzstan.
"A joint tactical exercise of military contingents of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation has begun on the basis of a training center in Kyrgyzstan," the statement said.
It is noted that during the opening ceremony, the national flags were built and raised, and a military band performed the national anthems of the two countries. The leadership of the exercise welcomed the military personnel and noted the importance of joint training to strengthen cooperation and friendly relations between Russia and Kyrgyzstan. At the end of the event, the military personnel marched in a single formation along the field camp's parade ground.
Within the framework of the exercise, issues of interaction, management of a combined unit, as well as the organization and conduct of joint military operations to destroy an illegal armed group in mountainous terrain will be worked out.
The Russian military contingent is based on motorized rifle and reconnaissance units, calculations of attack UAVs of the 201st Guards Military Base of the Central Military District, as well as crews of Mi-8MTV transport and combat helicopters of the united Russian military base stationed in the Kyrgyz Republic.
