OREANDA-NEWS  Russian billionaire Vladimir Lisin has lost the presidential election of the International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF). This is reported by Inside the Games.

The Russian received 127 votes, his opponent, the Italian Luciano Rossi, - 136.

In Russia, he previously served as Vice President of ISSF. Four years ago, he lost the election to Lisin.

The owner of NLMK group Lisin headed ISSF since 2018. After the start of the special operation in Ukraine, ISSF postponed the European Championship in bench and bullet shooting from Moscow, and also suspended Russians and Belarusians from the competition. But Lisin himself did not leave the leadership position.

Lisin ranks first in the list of the richest Russians according to Forbes. In the list of billionaires, which Forbes tracks in real time (Real Time Billionaires List), Lisin ranks 55th with a fortune of $25.4 billion.
