OREANDA-NEWS  Lithuanian Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkevicius presented the composition of the new government, LRT TV channel reports.

"The main intrigue concerned the foreign minister, but Mindaugas Sinkevicius announced that Kastutis Budris would remain foreign minister," the LRT publication noted.

According to Sinkevicius, Lithuania must maintain consistency in its foreign policy and "not rush from side to side," which is why Budris' candidacy seems to be the most suitable for the post of foreign minister. Defense Minister Robertas Kaunas will also retain his post.

Earlier, Budris called on NATO to "show the Russians" that the alliance's forces are capable of breaking into the Kaliningrad region. After that, Kaunas supported the initiative to amend the constitution, providing for the possibility of deploying nuclear weapons during crises and wars on the territory of Lithuania.
