OREANDA-NEWS  All Belarusian law enforcement agencies note an increase in the number of provocations near the border with Ukraine, President Alexander Lukashenko said.

"Ukraine, under any pretext, is most likely trying to draw the troops of NATO member states into the conflict. All this is confirmed by the recent fall of a rocket on the territory of Poland," the Telegram channel "Pool of the First" quotes him.

Lukashenko also noted that the fugitive opposition is increasingly calling for the seizure of power by force and the commission of terrorist acts on the territory of the country.

"Some of them are not just traitors, but also real extremists squared. They are already openly, without hesitation, calling for strikes against objects on the territory of our country. They even forgot that their relatives live on the territory of Belarus," he was indignant.

The President of Belarus drew attention to the fact that against this background, Western states continue to increase the military potential of their armed forces, modernize the infrastructure on the territory of neighboring countries, increase the intensity of operational and combat training events.

"All this leads to an aggravation of the already difficult military-political situation around our country and in the region as a whole," Lukashenko stressed.

At the same time, he stressed that the country manages to deter a potential enemy from using military force, but lessons must be learned from the current situation that will strengthen its defense capability.
