OREANDA-NEWS President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko assessed the possibility of an early outbreak of war and said that it would not happen tomorrow. This is reported by RIA Novosti.

According to the politician, the authorities of Western countries want to "crush our memory of the Great Patriotic War."

Lukashenko pointed out the need to "stand up in the struggle for the minds and hearts" of children and youth. In addition, the Belarusian head of state noted that systematic work should be carried out with young people.

Earlier, Lukashenko urged not to take the West's word for it. According to him, Western propaganda did a lot to discredit the Red Army, the partisan movement and the resistance during the Great Patriotic War.
