OREANDA-NEWS  President of Belarus has signed a law on ratification of the treaty with the Russian Federation on general principles of taxation on indirect taxes, thereby completing the procedure of ratification by Minsk of this international document.

The law is published on the national legal Internet portal of the Republic. The corresponding bill was adopted by the lower house of the Belarusian parliament on December 20, 2022 and approved by the upper house on December 21, 2022. "To ratify the agreement between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation on general principles of taxation on indirect taxes, signed in Moscow on October 3, 2022," the law says.

He instructs the Government of Belarus to take measures to bring the legislation of the republic in line with the provisions of the treaty, as well as other measures necessary to implement the provisions of the document.
Russia completed the ratification of the treaty at the end of last year.
