OREANDA-NEWS Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro announced that he had only one telephone conversation with the leader of the United States of America (USA), Donald Trump, in November 2025. This is reported by TASS.

Maduro explained that he had seen speculation that the conversation with the American leader last fall was already the second, but in fact everything is not so.

"We had only one conversation — he (Trump — approx. "The tapes.<url>") called me on November 21 from the White House when I was at the Miraflores Palace," Maduro added.

The only conversation lasted about 10 minutes and was in a respectful atmosphere. However, despite the good tone, the events after it were unpleasant.
