Mazda has lost the right to repurchase its assets in Russia

OREANDA-NEWS The Japanese Mazda concern did not exercise the option to buy back its stake in the Sollers enterprise in Vladivostok, and in October lost this opportunity, the press service of the Sollers group told RIA Novosti.
In November 2022, the Japanese automobile concern Mazda sold its stake in a joint venture with the Sollers automotive group in Vladivostok. The deal provided for the possibility of repurchase within three years.
"The Sollers Group has not received any proposals or requests from Mazda regarding the implementation of the option, and in the current circumstances we do not see the need for this ... The option expired in October 2025," the press service of the Russian concern said.
