OREANDA-NEWS  Turkey has not granted permission for Israeli President Isaac Herzog's plane to fly through its airspace, bound for Astana, the HavasosyalMedya civil aviation news portal reports.

Turkey's skies are closed to all aircraft carrying weapons and to Israeli official delegations, and it is open to regular civilian flights from third countries. Israeli airlines can use Turkey's skies for transit flights, a diplomatic source in Ankara told RIA Novosti earlier.

"Due to Ankara's refusal, the route was changed, and the flight passed through Europe and Russia," the report says.
