OREANDA-NEWS  Russia is currently being tested in all areas, including the economy. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, quoted by TASS.

"In fact, our country is being tested for strength in every sense of the word, and from an economic point of view [too]," the politician said at the Territory of Meanings forum.

According to Medvedev, today we have to live in extremely difficult times. "All of you, and you are young people — I'm not talking about us anymore, we are already quite adults — have had this difficult year," he summed up.

In an interview with the agency, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called the situation in which the entire "civilized" world, which calls itself that, turned against the country "serious." The minister also drew attention to the renewed statements by Western politicians about the desire to inflict a "strategic defeat" on Russia.
