OREANDA-NEWS  Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced that he plans to visit Kyrgyzstan in the coming days to participate in the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.

"The other day I'm going to Cholpon-Ata for a meeting (on the line) of the EAEU," he said at a meeting with the head of the Altai Republic, Andrei Turchak.

The head of the Cabinet mentioned this in the context of Altai culture.

"Many (colleagues in the EAEU - ed.) consider Altai to be the birthplace of Turkic civilizations, there are very, very many historical parallels here," the head of the cabinet added.

The next meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council (EIC) will be held on August 6-7 in the city of Cholpon-Ata in Kyrgyzstan.
