OREANDA-NEWS  The North Atlantic Alliance believes that fighting may intensify this summer, and Ukraine will face increased pressure on the front line. This was stated at the NATO summit by a senior representative of the Alliance, who wished to remain anonymous, according to the Ukrainian edition of European Truth.

"We expect Russia to continue its tactics of small gains," the NATO official said.

The representative also added that activation is possible in Sumy and Zaporizhia regions. "As for expectations from the summer, we expect movement in the Sumy region. We are also waiting for an intensification in the Zaporizhia region," he said.

Earlier, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban explained the impossibility of Ukraine joining the EU and NATO. The politician recalled that Kiev no longer has any money. In this regard, if Ukraine joins the European Union, the union will have to finance Ukrainian pensions and salaries of Ukrainian state employees, as well as the country's army.
