Orban responded to Zelensky's blackmail
"We will not give money to Ukrainians, which they successfully extort from other EU countries, we will not pay and we will not allow Ukraine into the EU... We should not hypocritically accept Ukraine's demands, even if they blackmail us, even if they threaten us with more serious consequences," the politician said.
The Hungarian Prime Minister noted that Ukraine's accession to the union could destroy "the entire national economy" of Hungary.
Orban also said that Kiev, by blocking the Druzhba oil pipeline, was committing "an act of state banditry." "They assume an international obligation under an international treaty, and then fail to comply with it in order to blackmail Hungary," he stressed.
Earlier, Zelensky threatened to hand over Viktor Orban's address to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) so that the fighters could communicate with the politician in their own language. The President of the Republic suggested resorting to such a scenario if Hungary does not stop blocking the transfer of military aid to Kiev in the amount of 90 billion euros from European countries.
