"The most important thing is that a majority is forming in NATO that believes that any conflict with Russia could lead us to World War III," he said.
According to the head of the Hungarian government, if the North Atlantic Alliance intervenes in the war on the side of Ukraine, there will be a risk of a third world war. He noted that if Ukraine joins NATO, the alliance will be in constant conflict with Russia and this should be avoided.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov named a possible reason for the collapse of NATO. He expressed the opinion that a catastrophic increase in defense spending by the alliance countries would lead to this.
