OREANDA-NEWS  The Ozon marketplace informed sellers about the increase in the cost of product insurance, which provides protection against emergency situations. This definition also includes possible drone attacks on the company's infrastructure if they are recognized as a terrorist attack or sabotage, according to a statement on the website.

Sellers who plan to activate insurance, starting from July 28, it will cost 0.0115 percent per day of the cost of goods. For customers who have previously activated insurance, the previous tariff will remain in effect until August 26, then the new rate will apply.

As before, the policy will apply to goods that are located in the company's warehouses, sorting centers, order pick-up points and in Ozon logistics, including returns.

"Upon the occurrence of an insured event, Ozon will compile a list of affected goods, collect the necessary documents for the insurance company — based on this, the insurance company will calculate the damage and determine the amount of payment," the company noted.

Earlier it was reported that the shares of the Ozon marketplace fell amid UAV attacks. The company's infrastructure has not been affected, but investors fear that its warehouses will become the next targets of air attacks.
