OREANDA-NEWS Yerevan does not intend to take drastic steps in relations with Moscow. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the Telegram channel Minval Politika reports.

The politician noted that he has friendly relations with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Pashinyan also called Russia a superpower that must be treated with respect.

"Since 2018, we have conducted about 200 telephone conversations. I doubt at all that the President of the Russian Federation has had more contacts with other foreign leaders since 2018," the Armenian Prime Minister said.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk answered a question about Armenia's rapprochement with the West. According to him, Moscow will understand any choice of the Armenian people.
