OREANDA-NEWS  Moscow is open to contacts with European representatives, and common sense dictates their necessity. This was stated by the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, RIA Novosti reports.

"The very logic of common sense, of course, dictates the need for contacts in order to discuss the huge number of issues, the most complex issues that are on the agenda and which are challenges for us," the Kremlin spokesman said.

Peskov recalled that Russian President Vladimir Putin had repeatedly stressed the readiness of the Russian side for contacts. "And we were not the initiators of the termination and curtailment of these contacts," he added.
