OREANDA-NEWS  Poland has lifted military aircraft into the air, citing Russia's alleged actions in Ukraine as a reason. This is reported by the Polish division of the Business Insider newspaper with reference to the operational command of the branches of the Polish armed forces.

"The fighter pairs on duty were lifted into the air, and the ground—based air defense and radar reconnaissance systems reached the highest degree of readiness," the Polish military said in a statement.

Additionally, it is indicated that these measures allegedly indicate a "willingness to defend the territory" of the Polish republic. It is also emphasized that the country's armed forces always "remain ready."
