OREANDA-NEWS If Germany goes to war with Russia, the Bundeswehr will face thousands of wounded Germans every day. This was announced by the chief physician of the Bundeswehr, Ralph Hoffman, in an interview with Reuters.

"The number of wounded soldiers in a potential conflict will depend on the intensity of the fighting in which German troops will participate. Realistically, we can talk about a figure of about a thousand wounded per day," the specialist said.

He stressed that in order to cope with such an influx of patients, the military medical service will have to be significantly increased.

Earlier, the head of the defense committee in the German Bundestag, Thomas Rewekamp, said that Germany would support Ukraine in developing means to strike Russia.
