Putin approved a military-related holiday in Russia

OREANDA-NEWS Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved the Day of Military-Political Bodies in the Armed Forces. The relevant decree has been published on the official portal of legal information.
"To establish the Day of Military-Political Bodies in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and celebrate it on May 15," the document says.
It is noted that the decree comes into force on the date of its signing — March 20, 2026.
Earlier, Putin approved two new holidays. So, on September 8, the Day of Languages of the Peoples of the Russian Federation will be celebrated. The second holiday, the Day of the Small Indigenous Peoples of the Russian Federation, will be held annually on April 30.
