OREANDA-NEWS Romania took off F-16 and Eurofighter fighter jets on the night of Tuesday, April 29, due to an alert on the Romanian-Ukrainian border. This is reported by the Romanian Ministry of Defense, RIA Novosti reports.

"Two Romanian Air Force F-16 aircraft and two Italian Air Force Eurofighter fighter jets, which are part of the Air Police combat service, carried out missions to monitor and protect Romanian airspace," the ministry said in a statement.
