Romanian Foreign Ministry summoned Russian Ambassador over Ukraine

OREANDA-NEWS The Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has summoned the Russian Ambassador to Bucharest, Vladimir Lipaev, in connection with allegations of alleged strikes by Russian troops in Ukraine, including in areas located near the Romanian border, the Romanian Foreign Ministry said. This is reported by RIA Novosti.
"The Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Bucharest was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on August 29 to receive a protest from the Romanian side in connection with the strikes that were carried out on civilian targets in Ukraine on the night of August 28," the statement said.
Earlier it was reported that Romania had transferred more than 20 military aid packages to Ukraine and announced a constant dialogue with Kiev on defense issues. It is reported that part of the data on Romania's military assistance to Ukraine is classified by the decision of the Supreme Council of National Defense. At the same time, Mostianu himself admitted that he stands for transparency of such supplies and is ready to change his approach in the future.
