OREANDA-NEWS Although there is a low probability of restrictions on the supply of Russian uranium to global markets, Rosatom has worked out measures to minimize damage to itself and buyers, according to statements from JSC Atomenergoprom, a subsidiary of the state-owned corporation that consolidates the civil assets of the Russian nuclear industry. The document states that "measures have been put in place to reduce the potential harm from such restrictions for both buyers and society, including analyzing the possibility of transferring orders to domestic companies, providing legal protection for society's interests, and more."
