OREANDA-NEWS The Russian Embassy in Vietnam explained to the compatriots that the new rules of entry to Vietnam are not yet mandatory. This is stated in the Telegram channel of the diplomatic mission.

We are talking about electronic arrival cards, which the Asian resort country has introduced since June 22. The embassy added that they are operating in a test mode, so at the moment it is possible to go through border control procedures at airports in Vietnam without cards.

At the same time, tourists need to be ready to fill out an electronic declaration on the spot at the request of representatives of the migration service. It is also noted that in the future, arrival cards should become mandatory.

The introduction of electronic cards became known on June 19. You can apply for them on the Vietnam Migration Service portal no earlier than 72 hours before entering there.
