OREANDA-NEWS The Security Service of Ukraine announced on Tuesday that it had charged Russian artist Yaroslav Dronov (Shaman) in absentia for concerts and actions in support of Russia.

"The Security Service has collected evidence on Russian singer Yaroslav Dronov, better known by his stage name Shaman," the SBU said in a statement posted on its Telegram channel.

The ministry pointed out that at the end of 2022, the singer recorded a video message in which he glorified the Russian army, and in 2023 he performed a concert in the Kherson region. He is charged with glorifying the armed forces of the Russian Federation and supporting the Russian special military operation.

Earlier, the SBU repeatedly charged representatives of the Russian Federation in absentia, but this did not lead to any consequences.
