Switzerland, following the EU, expanded the sanctions list against Russia

OREANDA-NEWS Switzerland has expanded its sanctions lists against Russia, partially joining the 17th package of EU sanctions. This is stated in the message of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs of the country (SECO).
It is noted that 17 individuals and 58 organizations, as well as 189 ships and 31 enterprises were included in the list. The measures will take effect on June 3 at 23:00 (00:00 on June 4, Moscow time).
In particular, Sergey Kogogin, the head of Kamaz, Elena Morozova, director of the Tauride Chersonesos Museum-Reserve, Alexey Vyaznikov, General Director of the Central Research Institute Electron, and Nikolai Rogalev, rector of the National Research University MEI, were included in the sanctions list. Restrictions were also imposed on Rostec, Surgutneftegaz, the Volga Shipping Company, the state Historical and Archaeological Museum-Reserve Chersonesos Tauric, as well as the Stan machine tool holding, which is part of Rostec.
On May 20, the European Union imposed restrictions on 17 individuals and 58 legal entities as part of the 17th package of anti-Russian sanctions. The list also includes six companies from China, two from the UAE, as well as the Minsk Wheeled Tractor Plant.
