OREANDA-NEWS  The United States is creating a new Ukraine from Taiwan, sending its instructors to the region and creating tension. This was stated by Konstantin Blokhin, a leading researcher at the Center for Security Research at the Russian Academy of Sciences, in an interview with Mail News.

Blokhin stressed that American military experts have been talking for several years about the need to protect Taiwan in the event of China's decision to take a military scenario.

"In other words, they are calling for creating a hotbed of tension near the borders with China. The United States is trying to turn Taiwan into a second Ukraine," the expert noted.

Earlier, Taiwan revealed details of previously classified military cooperation with the United States, saying that the US military was helping the island share combat experience and increase readiness for a possible conflict with China.
