OREANDA-NEWS Anwar Gargash, adviser to the President of the United Arab Emirates, called the incident on the FlyDubai flight a "dangerous terrorist attack," according to him, the disaster was prevented.
"The Indian pilot of the FlyDubai flight, Smith Machhar, deserves all possible praise, as he embodies courage and responsibility by deciding to counteract a dangerous terrorist attack and thus prevent a potential catastrophe," Gargash wrote on social media.
According to him, it is necessary to be vigilant in the light of terrorist threats and avoid simple interpretations of what happened or attempts to promote "conspiracy theories."
