OREANDA-NEWS South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has set a national record for the value of a cow sold at auction. This is reported by the Times live portal.
It is noted that the African leader, as the owner of a livestock farm, set an absolute national record by selling a three-year-old Ankole heifer for 6.4 million rand (about 360 thousand dollars).
A cow named Queen Arusha was sold at an open auction with the participation of more than 100 people. "This achievement was made possible thanks to Cyril Ramaphosa's foresight," said representatives of the Ntaba Nyoni Presidential Farm.
Davis Akampurira from Uganda, who had previously dreamed of becoming the "son of Africa" to Russian President Vladimir Putin, came to the International Youth Festival in Yekaterinburg and brought a special gift for the Russian leader, grown with his own hands.
