OREANDA-NEWS  An April snowstorm covered the Murmansk region, leading to massive road accidents. This is reported by the RT Telegram channel.

Inclement weather has led to reduced visibility in the region. In Murmansk, accidents occurred in the area of the Pervomaisky recreation center, the descent from Kapitan Orlikova Street, the descent to house No. 20 along Communications Passage, on Pavlova Street, in the Ski Passage near the Sevryba hospital and at the Liga shopping center.

Snowfall and gale force winds in the region have been going on for several days. In Murmansk and the Kola Bay, the north-westerly wind gusts reach 25-28 meters per second. The storm, according to forecasts of the Murmansk hydrometeorological center, will last at least until the middle of the day.

Earlier, residents of the capital were promised changeable weather for the May holidays.
