OREANDA-NEWS  Charge d'affaires of the United Kingdom in Russia, Deini Dolakia, was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry on Friday, Smolenskaya Square said.

"A strong protest has been expressed in connection with London's further increase in supplies of UAVs and other weapons systems to the Kiev regime," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

"During the demarche, it was pointed out that the acutely confrontational line of the United Kingdom on the Ukrainian track is clearly subordinated to the task of fully prolonging and escalating the armed conflict and only postpones the prospect of its political settlement," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

""The British side has been presented with a list of international obligations that it violates as a result of its support to Kiev," "The complex risks associated with the destructive actions of the British, as well as the futility of their efforts against the background of the superiority of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, holding the strategic initiative in the zone of a special military operation, have been explained."

On Smolenskaya Square, the British diplomat drew attention to the fact that "by massive supplies of long-range offensive weapons, London puts itself in the position of an accomplice to the bloody atrocities of the Kiev regime, which cannot be characterized otherwise than as terrorism and war crimes."
