"Of course, the situation in the Baltic is not easy. The NATO forces are actually creating a multinational group focused on offensive actions," the Russian official said.

Earlier, Yevgeny Mishin, a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Kaliningrad Region, called the flights of reconnaissance aircraft from the United Kingdom and the United States over the Baltic Sea an attempt to "take Russia on the weak side."
