OREANDA-NEWS The Shenzhou-16 lander has successfully returned to Earth, after almost five months of rotation at the Tiangong station. This is reported by Xinhua.

The manned Chinese vehicle landed at 8:11 a.m. local time at the Dongfeng landing site in northern China. Now China Central Television is broadcasting from the landing site of the lander. Specialists of the search and rescue squad inspect the crew and help them get out.

The Shenzhou-17 team is currently working at the Tiangong station, which was successfully launched on October 26. The Shenzhou-17 Taikonauts will stay in orbit for six months.

Also, the Shenzhou-15 manned spacecraft with three cosmonauts on board arrived at the Tiangong station yesterday. It docked with the main compartment of the Tianhe at 5:42 Beijing time. The flight of the Shenzhou-15 lasted about 6.5 hours.
